The North Bay Trappers Hockey Association is pleased to announce the following dates and locations for on-ice tryouts for the various divisions of the Association (Minor Peewee dates & times have been amended since original post – this notice reflects amendments).

We thank all who applied and interviewed for the various positions and wish these coaches much success for the coming season.


The NBDTHA is currently accepting quotes for a sport-related concussion evaluation system for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons with an option for 2019-20. The system should include baseline testing, post concussion management, education, and a return to play protocol. The successful bid will be responsible for testing and managing the data for five and possibly six NBDTHA AAA hockey teams (i.e., minor peewee, major peewee, minor bantam, major bantam, and midget (possible minor midget)).

Please submit your quotes to the NBDTHA at no later than March 31st, 2017.


The Executive of the NBDTHA invite parents to evaluate their experience with the North Bay and District Trappers Hockey Association. Please use the attached form if possible, or other correspondence is welcomed, however to be reviewed and considered, all submissions must be signed. Anonymous submissions will not be reviewed.

The Ontario Hockey Federation will be hosting two High Performance Coaches Clinics this summer to help meet the requirements of Hockey Canada HP1 Policy. The first Clinic will be held over two weekends, June 9th to 11th; June 17-18 at Humber College in Toronto and the second Clinic will be July 6th-9th at Georgian College in Barrie.
