The City Of North Bay is hosting a public information session on Thursday, September 28th at 7 pm at the Discovery North Bay Museum, Pacific Room to discuss options regarding the replacement of the West Ferris Arena.

The Board of Directors of the North Bay and District Trappers Hockey Association supports the replacement of the current West Ferris Arena with a multi-pad, multi-sport facility to be located adjacent to Memorial Gardens, and feel use of this site in a multi-pad and sport senario would render efficiencies beneficial to all users and the city,. At the same time, such a facility would create a positive environment to promote the city for regional, provincial and national events.

The Board encourages all parents to attend this meeting to support the development of a new facility, however, the Board would also welcome signed letters of support from parents with children registered with the NBDTHA to be presented by the Association.
