The North Bay & District Trappers Hockey Association is pleased to announce the return of Guy Blanchard behind the bench of the Major Midget AAA Trappers for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Blanchard took over the Major Midget team and guided them to a bronze medal at the Central Regional Major Midget AAA Championships held recently in Sudbury.

Blanchard, who has been behind the bench at both the major junior and junior A hockey levels, led the Trappers to an impressive 30-5-0-0-1 record during the Great North Midget League regular season schedule, which was good enough for first place overall.

Spring tryouts for the Trappers midget team, which will be for 2000, 2001, 2002 birth year players, will take place later this month.
